An LNG satellite system is a facility that receives LNG from a receiving terminal via tank lorries or railway tank containers, vaporizes it, and supplies it through pipelines.
We at Ishii Iron Works build the entire system, from the vertical cylindrical LNG tanks to the foundation work, and the installation of equipment and piping.
Vertical Cylindrical LNG Tanks DETAIL
We were the first in Japan to develop a vertical cylindrical LNG tank with a semi-spherical mirror plate structure. It offers excellent thermal insulation, and its seismic performance has been verified in accordance with seismic standards under relevant laws and regulations. Since its first delivery in 2003, we have constructed numerous units as fuel conversion facilities for gas companies, factories, and more, contributing to the promotion of LNG as an energy-efficient, low-carbon fuel source.
